G.M.C. Ice Skating Equipment Service
- GMC, a company with extensive international experience, was established in 2002. Over the years, they have been serving the Pennington brand and exceptional skaters and coaches. By gathering feedback from these outstanding skaters and coaches on the products, they have played a crucial role in enhancing and promoting the Pennington brand.
Mr. Pennington
Denis Pennington, the founder of the brand, personally created the Pennington Short Track Speed Skating which have been adopted by world-class short track speed skaters and have won numerous Olympic, World Championship, and World Cup championships from the 1990s to the early 2010s.
Brand Developer
- Yang Wang used professional Short Track Speed Skating in China, Retired after 2006. After retiring, he started researching and making boots and from a small workshop, he has grown it into a large factory today. He invested heavily in purchasing state-of-the-art blades manufacturing equipment to provide athletes with more advanced, precise, and stable products.
- But his passion and pursuit of the ice industry did not diminish at all, so he began to personally study the entrepreneurial career of making ice skates based on his personal experience as a professional high-level athlete and the feeling of ice skates and blades sliding at high speed. In 2009, he took the Pennington brand into his pocket and personally went to Australia to learn how to make to blades with Mr. Pennington. He also communicated and cooperated with World Technology Co., Ltd., listening to feedback from world equipment coaches and skaters. Wang started producing both longtrack and shorttrack skates, as well as inline skates. Now the Pennington brand has Olympic and World Champions.
